The New Iron Throne

One of the first tasks I was given on House of the Dragon pre production back in Autumn 2020, to come up with a new design for The Iron Throne. The Showrunners Ryan and Miguel wanted Something that compliments the design from Game of Thrones but is a bit closer to George's vision in the books. It was an organic process trying different versions, Production Designer Jim Clay suggested the final version with the swords pointing upwards. Made using Zbrush, Blender, Substance Painter and Photoshop.
