The Tournament

The Tournament was one of the first scenes I worked on with Production Designer Jim Clay. He had a vision of an oval stadium/arena with a similar architectural style of the stadium from the infamous 1936 Berlin Olympics, so I used that as a starting point with my early modeling and renders. We developed it from there with a design for the Royal box and increased the height of the structure to make it suit the scale we wanted for the show.
